The delegation from Japan - Vietnam Peace and Friendship Promotion Council in Saitama works in Quang Nam

(QNO) - Vice Chairman of the Quang Nam provincial People’s Committee Le Van Thanh played host to the delegation from the Japan - Vietnam Peace and Friendship Promotion Council (JVPF) in Saitama led by its Vice President, Hiramatsu Tomoko on August 9.

The JVPF in Saitama has been in Quang Nam since 2012. It cooperates with the local Association for Victims of Agent Orange/Dioxin to build and repair 30 houses of charity for victims of agent Orange/Dioxin in the province. Besides, the JVPF in Saitama has organized various activities in Quang Nam such as Quang Nam - Da Nang’s and Japanese writers’ exchanges, Vietnam - Japan friendship exchanges to celebrate Day for Agent Orange/Dioxin Victims on August 10. The JVPF in Saitama has also introduced Quang Nam’s culture, people and investment attraction policies to Japanese people and mobilized their supports for Quang Nam’s victims of agent Orange/Dioxin.

Speaking at the meeting, Vice Chairman Thanh thanked the JVPF’s help for the families of victims of Agent Orange/Dioxin in Quang Nam. He hoped the JVPF in Saitama continues to help other victims; thereby, the Japan - Vietnam friendship is strengthened.
