Tighten the friendship and cooperative relations

(QNO) - The Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of Japan to Vietnam Umeda Kunio and his fellows visited Quang Nam on August 17.

Quang Nam Party Secretary Nguyen Ngoc Quang received the delegation. He highly appreciated the cooperation between the Embassy of Japan and Quang Nam in many fields. Thanks to the embassy, the Government of Japan has financed Quang Nam’s key projects, contributing to Quang Nam’s development and social security.

Quang Nam wishes to receive further supports from the Japanese Embassy and Government. Quang Nam authorities will go on cooperating and facilitating Japanese Ambassadors, people and businessmen who want to invest in Quang Nam.

Mr. Umeda Kunio felt impressed by the sincerity of Quang Nam people and the provincial development. He also thanked Quang Nam authorities for creating favorable conditions for the Japanese to live and work here. The embassy will be the bridge to expand the cooperation between Japan and Quang Nam, and introduce the Japanese programs on international students and trainees to Vietnamese students. He also promised to support a center of Japanese language in Quang Nam if it is possible. At the same time, he wished to expand the scale and quality of the annual Vietnamese-Japanese cultural festival in Hoi An.

The diplomatic relations between Japan and Quang Nam has been more and more tightened through the programmes like the meeting.
