Quang Nam's leader welcomes Cuban Ambassador to Vietnam

(QNO) - Cuban Ambassador to Vietnam Torres Rivera paid a courtesy visit Quang Nam province. Chairman of the provincial People’s Committee Dinh Van Thu received her.

At the meeting, Chairman Thu informed his guest of the basic features of Quang Nam’s geography, politics, culture as well as local prominent socio-economic achievements in the past time. He hoped Cuban Ambassador to be a bridge between Cuban and the province in training, education, health, medicinal plant… In reply, Ambassador Lyanis Torres Rivera congratulated the impressive achievements of the province and believed in Quang Nam’s new successes.

On the same day, Ms. Lyanis Torres Rivera visited  the Monument of heroic Vietnamese Mother in Tam Ky city, Quang Nam province.
