Quang Nam leaders extend New Year wishes to Laotians

(QNO) - On the occasion of Bunpimay (Lao traditional New Year) 2019, the delegation of Quang Nam province led by Chairman of the provincial Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee Vo Xuan Ca visited and extended New Year wishes to Sekong province’s leaders (Laos) on April 10.

At the meeting, Deputy Governor of Laos’ Sekong province thanked for Quang Nam leaders’ visit and greetings. He said Sekong province has received the support from Quang Nam for Sekong’s socio-economic development for many years. Sekong has created favourable conditions for Quang Nam people to live and work in Southern Laos.

On behalf of the provincial leaders, Chairman Ca affirmed the close and effective neighboring relations between Quang Nam and Sekong. All have contributed to fostering the special sustainable friendship between two provinces’ and two countries’ Party Committees, authorities and people.

On this occasion, leaders of Sekong and Quang Nam discussed cooperative agreements between two sides such as border management, free migration, investment for two provinces’ development.

At the same day, Quang Nam leaders visited and extended New Year greetings to Champasak province.
