Creating favourable conditions for Lao students in Quang Nam

(QNO) - Vice Chairman of the Quang Nam provincial People’s Committee Tran Dinh Tung has just hosted a reception for the delegation from Sekong province (Laos) led by Deputy Governor Thavon Phommalaylun.

In recent 3 years, there have been more than 750 Lao students studying at Quang Nam University, Quang Nam Medical College and Technical and Economic College of Quang Nam. Quang Nam has given scholarships to Lao students and cadres, especially those from Sekong, and provided them with boarding houses.

At the reception, Deputy Governor Thavon Phommalaylun, on behalf of the Sekong provincial government, thanked for Quang Nam’s supports in training Lao human resources, which contributes to the Sekong’s socioeconomic development.
