Quang Nam - Sekong financial cooperation
(QNO) - The Department of Finance of Quang Nam province (QNDF) has just paid a working visit to the Department of Finance of Sekong province (SkDF - Laos). Two parties signed a memorandum of understanding on financial cooperation.
The event was to celebrate the 60th anniversary of diplomatic relations and the 45th anniversary of the Treaty of Amity and Cooperation between Vietnam and Laos.
Accordingly, Quang Nam and Sekong agreed to strengthen exchange and cooperation, to have mutual support in public expenditure management, decentralization of revenue streams, public property management, local public debt management and settlement.
Besides, Quang Nam and Sekong will exchange their experiences in investment attraction, solutions to the problems of budget revenue management, creating new revenue streams, nourishing revenue sources, minimising loss of budget revenue, improving the efficiency of state-invested projects, etc.
Furthermore, the two parties will cooperate and exchange experiences in digital transformation; operations in economic zones, industrial parks and clusters, tourist sites, etc.
In addition, the QNDF will provide the SkDF with short-term training and retraining courses related to the management of administrative budget, public investment, public assets, and digital transformation.
On this occasion, the delegation of the QNDF made a courtesy visit to leaders of Sekong province.
Governor of Sekong province Lechlay Sivilay highly appreciated the cooperation between Quang Nam and Sekong Departments of Finance.
Then, the delegation also visited Bo Nhon- Le Viet Muong, former Secretary and Governor of Sekong province.
