Quang Nam visits Consulate General of Vietnam in Pakse
(QNO) - The high-level delegation of Quang Nam province has paid a visit to the Consulate General of Vietnam in Pakse (Champasak, Laos).
At the meeting with the Consulate General of Vietnam in Pakse, Chairman of the Quang Nam Provincial People’s Committee Le Tri Thanh talked about the cooperative relationship between Quang Nam and Southern provinces of Laos, especially Sekong and Champasak.
He wished the Consulate General of Vietnam in Pakse to facilitate Quang Nam people’s business and living activities in Southern Laos.
Chairman Thanh also suggested Consulate General of Vietnam in Pakse promote the cooperation in building the East-West economic corridor from Northeast Thailand to Central Vietnam through Southern Laos and Nam Giang international border gate.
Besides, Quang Nam hoped to get much opportunity for cooperation projects and programmes in 4 provinces of Southern Laos, especially Sekong.
Consul General Trung thanked the Quang Nam delegation for the visit and gave some information about investment, economic cooperation and development in Southern Laos’ provinces.
He also mentioned some coordination between Quang Nam and Consulate General of Vietnam in Pakse in order to concretise cooperation contents with Southern Laos provinces in the time to come.
