Medipeace’s support for disabled children in Quang Nam
(QNO) - Vice Chairman of the Quang Nam provincial People's Committee Tran Anh Tuan received a delegation from Medipeace (South Korea) on September 5.
Medipeace is a non-governmental organization. It provides medical equipment and support for the children with disabilities.
In Quang Nam province, Medipeace has implemented a project on rehabilitation and improvement of the quality of life for children with disabilities in the period of 2021 - 2023 with a total cost of over 1.4 million USD.
Until now, Medipeace has supported disables children by repairing their houses, providing rehabilitation equipment for provincial hospitals and district healthcare centers, building communal rehabilitation rooms, giving them devices and diagnosis …
At the meeting, the representative of Medipeace hoped Quang Nam province to establish a committee on disabled people to coordinate with Medipeace in the second phase of the Medipeace’s project.
Vice Chairman Tran Anh Tuan highly appreciated Medipeace’ s projects, especially those relating to disabled and poor children in Quang Nam. Mr. Tuan hoped Quang Nam to receive more supports from Medipeace in the coming time.
