(QNO) - On February 8, Prime Minister Pham Minh Chinh and central government officials had a working visit to Hyosung Quang Nam in Tam Thang Industrial Park, Tam Ky city.
During the visit, PM Pham Minh Chinh was briefed on Hyosung’s operations. Established in 2018 at Tam Thang Industrial Park, the company has expanded to two projects covering nearly 40ha, with a total investment of USD 452 million.
Hyosung Quang Nam plans to expand investments to USD 1.34 billion and increase hiring. The company requested government support for environmental assessments at Tam Thang Industrial Park and eased visa conditions for South Korean workers and experts.
Hyosung Quang Nam sought government support for sulphuric acid supply, tax incentives, and lower interest rates for major investors. PM Pham Minh Chinh recognised Hyosung’s contributions and urged Quang Nam to support business development.
Hyosung Quang Nam must comply with Vietnamese laws and bilateral agreements. The government supports business growth by removing obstacles and streamlining procedures, with several requests addressed directly by PM Pham Minh Chinh.
PM Pham Minh Chinh praised Hyosung’s contributions and its investment expansion plans. He assured continued government support for efficient and sustainable projects, urging environmental protection, local partnerships, and worker welfare.
PM Pham Minh Chinh’s visit reaffirmed Vietnam’s commitment to foreign investors and business growth.
