Positive recovery of international tourist arrivals

In the first six months of 2019, Quang Nam welcomed 2,5 international tourist arrivals. Now, Quang Nam is in the top group of Vietnam’s localities in terms of full tourism recovery.

Besides Hoi An ancient town and My Son Sanctuary, Quang Nam lures tourists including international ones via new tourism products.

Recently, Quang Nam has received international farm trip and press trip delegations from Singapore, South Korea, Japan.

Filmmakers are also attracted by the programmes such as “Vivu Vietnam”, “Taste of Vietnam”, “Around Vietnam”, “Tour of Vietnam Heritage Road”, “Documentary Film on Quang Nam Green Tourism”, "Exciting Asia" introducing destinations of Hoi An, My Son...

The National Assembly of Vietnam has just approved of extending the duration of electronic visas (e-visas) from 30 days to 90 days, valid for multiple entry, while the duration of visas for temporary stays issued at border gates for those in the visa exemption category from 15 days to 45 days.

Reportedly, the province will continue to organize important activities to attract international visitors in the coming time, such as introducing Quang Nam tourism in India, Malaysia, Singapore, Laos, Thailand; cultural - tourism days and introduction of Quang Nam products in Can Tho within the framework of Can Tho International Tourism Fair 2023; joining conferences on tourism development in 5 localities in Central Vietnam (Quang Nam - Da Nang - Thua Thien Hue - Quang Binh - Quang Tri).
