Accordingly, the landfall position of gas lines from the Blue Whale gas field and the natural gas processing factory will be located in Chu Lai Open Economic Zone (Tam Quang commune, Nui Thanh district). In addition, four gas thermal power plants (750MW capacity/ plant) using gas from the Blue Whale will be built. Two of them are in Tam Quang and the others in Dung Quat Economic Zone (Quang Ngai province).
