New coat of Tam Thanh mural village

(QNO) - Tam Thanh mural village is one of the famous tourist attractions in Quang Nam. The village has recently renovated with new wall-paintings.

Located in Hoa Trung hamlet of Tam Thanh commune, Tam Thanh mural village is about 7km far from the centre of Tam Ky city, Quang Nam province.

It is the first mural village in Vietnam to be jointly painted by Vietnamese and South Korean volunteers.

The mural village was formed in 2016. The wall-paintings used to be very attractive to visitors, making a positive contribution to the local economic development.

However, the mural paintings became degraded over time; so, a project on recovering the beauty of the mural village was launched in April 2023.

As a result, the village now has a new coat which is attractive and impressive to both local and international visitors.
