The makeshift Covid-19 hospital at Tien Son Sports Arena was officially handed over to the Da Nang city People’s Committee by Sun Group on the afternoon of August 5.

It is the first makeshift hospital in Vietnam to be built by putting modules together. The systems of rooms/sickbeds, sewage treatment, lighting, partition etc, have been designed and installed in the standards of the Ministry of Construction and the Ministry of Health of Vietnam. The makeshift hospital at Tien Son Sports Arena (Hai Chau district) will be multi-use. If the number of Covid-19 patients outbreaks, it will receive and treat them. If the number of Covid-19 patients is still controlled and the hospitals and medical centers in the city can still afford to treat them, it will receive, isolate and monitor the close contact cases (F1) during 14 days.
