Online school exchange between Quang Nam and Wakayama

(QNO) - An online school exchange programme has just been held for high school students between Wakayama Prefecture (Japan) and Quang Nam Province (Vietnam).

Present at the exchange were representatives of Wakayama prefecture, Japanese Ambassador to Vietnam, Vietnamese Consult General in Osaka, leaders of the Departments of Education and Training and of Foreign Affairs, leaders of two high schools for the gifted in Quang Nam province.

The programme was aimed at strengthening the bond between Vietnamese and Japanese youth. It focused on the exchange of culture, history, and school life in the time of Covid-19.

Besides, students discussed some other things they were interested in. The language used at the exchange was English.

The programme was within the framework of cooperation between Quang Nam province and Kinokawa city of Wakayama Prefecture.
