One more night market inaugurated in Hoi An

(QNO) - The 2nd night market in Hoi An has recently come into operation along Tran Quy Cap, Bach Dang, and Hoang Van Thu streets. The market opens from 6 pm. to 11 pm.

The night market is considered as one of the must-visit places when someone visits Hoi An. The 1st one opened along Nguyen Hoang street in 2012 with the aims of cutting down the number of visitors to Hoi An ancient quarter, creating one more place of visiting and shopping in Hoi An. However, this night market becomes overcrowded now, which creates an unbalance of visitors between the west and the east of the ancient quarter. To get over this problem and to meet the locals' and visitors' needs of shopping, the 2nd night market was born with a diversity of products and goods. They are mainly hand-made products of Hoi An trade names. Some others are imported from other provinces and cities.

The 2nd night market also helps to solve the problem of peddled wares, stabilize the locals' livelihood, and speed up Hoi An socio-economic development.
