Ngoc Linh ginseng garden-Tak Ngo- a tourist destination

(QNO) - Ngoc Linh ginseng garden-Tak Ngo (Quang Nam province) covers an area of about 85ha. It is divided into 3 areas: tourism, scientific research and ginseng growing. This destination links to Ngoc Linh ginseng fair, Xe Dang and Mo Nong ethnic groups and mountainous areas of Quang Nam province.

Ngoc Linh ginseng is used for disease treatment by Xe Dang ethnic people living at the foot of the highest mountain in Central Vietnam. In September 2015, the Government of Vietnam ratified the project to develop Ngoc Linh ginseng until 2030 by widening the Ngoc Linh ginseng garden in 7 communes of Nam Tra Mi district with an area of 30,000ha. The investment capital for the project is over VND9,000 billion, VND1,500 billion of which comes from the state budget, and the rest from the socialized capital. Vietnam or Ngoc Linh ginseng was added on the list of national products in June 2017.
