Strengthening Quang Nam and Nagasaki relations


(QNO) - The Japanese delegation led by General Advisor of Policy of the Nagasaki Department of Industry and Labour Manabu Sadakata was received by Standing Deputy Chairman of the Quang Nam provincial People’s Committee Huynh Khanh Toan on November 18.

At the meeting, Mr. Toan said Quang Nam province and Nagasaki prefecture had frequently high-level meetings to talk about the cooperation in the fields of economic development, culture, human resource training. In the period of 2016 - 2019, there were 3,363 employees from Quang Nam working abroad, including 2,876 employees in Japan.

A Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) on cooperation in training human resource was signed by the Quang Nam Department of Labour, Invalids and Social Affairs and Nagasaki Department of Industry and Labour in Nagasaki (Japan) last October. It contributes to deepening the relationship between Quang Nam and Nagasaki in the coming time.

On this occasion, the two sides agreed to closely coordinate in the implementation of the MoU on teaching Japanese for Quang Nam apprentices, labourers who will to work in Japan and teachers. Nagasaki will help Quang Nam labourers with more employments in Japan.
