(QNO) - A delegation from Tam Ky city (Quang Nam province, Vietnam) paid a working visit to La Mam district (Sekong province, Laos) from the 19th to the 22nd of September.
The meeting focused on the Tam Ky and La Mam cooperative results since 2018.
Reportedly, Tam Ky has supported La Mam with a centre for agricultural technology, giving gifts to Lao students in Tam Ky city on holidays and New Year, providing full scholarships for 3 Lao students and 9 officials studying Vietnamese at Quang Nam University, supporting La Mam to fight against the COVID-19 pandemic, etc.
At the meeting, two parties agreed on the cooperative contents in the period 2023 - 2028 and the annual minutes.
Accordingly, Tam Ky will continuously support La Mam to teach Vietnamese to officials and give scholarships to students studying at Quang Nam University.
Besides, Tam Ky and La Mam will share their experience in farming, education, and healthcare.
