(QNO) - Chairman of the Quang Nam provincial People’s Committee Le Tri Thanh played host to the Consul General of Japan and the Japanese Business Association in Da Nang City on January 6.
At the reception, Consul General of Japan in Da Nang City Yakabe Yoshinori said Central Vietnam, including Quang Nam, is the current concern of Japanese business communities because of its advantages of labor supply and land prices in industrial zones.
Japan will announce the growth initiative program in Central Vietnam in 2023 as planned, facilitating Japanese investment in the region, promoting the regional development.
2023 will mark the 50th anniversary of the establishment of diplomatic relations between Vietnam and Japan (1973 - 2023). Japan is choosing Hoi An as one of the places Japanese senior leaders visit when attending the celebration.
Chairman Thanh said he was very excited about the growth initiative program of Japan in the Central Vietnam including Quang Nam. Quang Nam always welcomes Japanese businesses.
Chairman Thanh also hoped Japan would continue to connect with Quang Nam to promote people-to-people diplomatic relations between the two sides.
