For his part, Chairman Thanh briefly informed his guests of the local forestry industry. In recent years, Quang Nam has strengthened its conservation of forests and biodiversity. However, the capacity to process and produce forestry products is low.

Therefore, Chairman Thanh hoped Finnish Ambassador Keijo Norvanto would act as a bridge to call on more businesses from his country to learn about investment opportunities in Quang Nam in the fields of sustainable forest exploitation and conservation, as well as support Quang Nam in building forest carbon projects.
