(QNO) - A delegation from Dalseo district (Dague city, South Korea) led by its Mayor Lee Tae Hun had a working visit to Tam Ky city on August 31.

An agreement of friendship and cooperation between Dalseo district and Tam Ky city (Quang Nam province, Vietnam) was signed on July 12, 2011.
Since then, Tam Ky and Dalseo have actively supported each other in various fields, including economy, culture, and society, and created favorable conditions for delegations to mutually visit and work together.
Tam Ky city organized investment promotion seminars in Dalseo district in February 2011 and March 2023.
Dalseo supports 50% of the value of two 4-wheel tractors for farmers in Tam Ngoc commune, a surveillance camera system for Son Ca Kindergarten, computers for Mang Non Kindergarten…

At the reception, leaders of Tam Ky city hoped Dalseo district would continuously support Tam Ky in building a smart city and “New Village" (or new rural areas in Vietnam).
Dalseo district leaders said they would have practical support, creating conditions for Tam Ky city’s young officials to study in South Korea as well as for Tam Ky city’s people to go to South Korea for work.

On the same day, the Dalseo district delegation visited Tran Quoc Toan Primary School, donating 47.6 million VND to the libraries of 14 primary schools in Tam Ky city.
Besides, the South Korean delegation visited the Tam Ky City Community Digital Library.
