5,484 Covid-19 monitoring groups have been formed in Quang Nam residential areas until August 12.
Each group has 2 or 3 members, managing from 30 to 50 households.
They are responsible for reminding, propagating and mobilizing people to take measures to prevent and control Covid-19 epidemic such as keeping a safe distance in contact, wearing face masks when going out, washing with soaps or antibaterial solution, limitting going out if it’s not required.
At the same time, these groups have to observe and discover suspected cases of Covid-19 in communities with such symptoms as fever, cough, sore throat, chest pain and shortness of breath, tiredness, etc.
Then, they report the information collected to local authotities or medical agencies so that the suspected cases of Covid-19 are tested as soon as possible.
These groups work very effectively, meeting the current urgent requirements for COVID-19 epidemic prevention and control.
