On behalf of Quang Nam’s leaders, Chairman Le Tri Thanh thanked Sarah Hooper for her sentiments towards Quang Nam.

At the same time, he talked about the recent provincial achievements.

In particular, Quang Nam is now one of the provinces with budget contributions to the Central Government.

Quang Nam is resolute in sustainable development in industry, tourism, and agriculture.

The province also pays much attention to environmental protection and poverty alleviation in mountainous areas.

Currently, Quang Nam is one of three key localities, along with Da Nang city and Quang Ngai province, in Central Vietnam and Central Highlands.

The province is planning its development strategies until 2050, especially long-term and short-term plans which need the help from Australian authorities.
