(QNO) - On the occasion of 40th anniversary of provincial liberation (24th March), the central province Quang Nam held groundbreaking ceremonies and inaugurated some economic and cultural constructions.

In the morning of 23rd March, the Chu Lai Open economic Zone Mannaging Board (Chu Lai OEZMB) organised the groundbreaking ceremony for the infrastructure construction and the main road of the Tam Thang Industrial Zone (Tam Thang IZ).
The project covers an area of 15 hectares (and can be enlarged up to 700 hectares). The Ministry of Planning and Investment and Quang Nam provincial authority have also agreed to invest 425 billion VND (about 20.1 million USD) into Tam Thang IZ from 2016 to 2020 for building the resettlement areas, infrastructure, houses for workers and a cemetery.
To create a comprehensive connection, the Chu Lai OEZMB has to build a 5.8km mainroad linking the Tam Thang IZ and National Highway 1A at the total cost of over 230 billion VND (nearly 1,2 million USD).
The Panko Textile and Garment Group (Korea) undertook to invest 30 million USD to carry out a textile and garment project in the Tam Thang IZ. Some enterprises of the textile and garment supporting industry fields also registered to invest in the Tam Thang IZ.
Concurrently, the Quang Nam provincial Department of Transportation and the CIENCO 5 fixed a plate of National Highway 1A Enlarging project in Quang nam province. This 40km project has the total investment capital of 1,625 billion VND and has been invested by the CIENCO 5. After two years of construction, the project completed meets the demands of increasing transportation, contribute to decreasing traffic jams and accidents in Quang Nam province.

To celebrate the 40th anniversary of Quang Nam province’s liberation (24th March), the 80th anniversary of founding the Quang Nam provincial Party Committee (28th March), the People’s Committee of Quang Nam province fixed the plates “Celebrating Quang Nam province’s Liberation Day” for Ky Phu 1 and 2 bridges, The 24th March Square of Tam Ky city, Quang Nam Guest House , Ai Nghia bridge (Dai Loc district), Phan Boi Chau Highschool (Tam ky city), Le Thanh Tong Specialized Highschool (Hoi An city), DT 16 Road (Nong Son district), the Binh Phuc Garment Factory (Thang Binh district).
Quang Nam province has also inaugurated the Quang Nam provincial Museum and organised groundbreaking ceremonies for some constructions: Giao Thuy bridge, the Que Son Fibre -Textile – Dyeing and Garment Complex.
In the afternoon of 23rd March, The People’s Committee of Quang Nam province and Vietin Bank inaugurated the Dai Hong Chung (Big Bell), which will be placed at the Quang Nam provincial Martyrs’ Cemetery.
This Big Bell’s dimension is 3.2 m high, 1.67m diameter and 4.6 tones weight. Its body was graved many designs and patterns expressing the patriotism of the Quang nam province’s people.
The Vietin Bank also granted money to build many works at Quang Nam provincial Martyrs’ Cemetery, such as 450 martyrs’ graves. This construction was completed to celebrate the 40th anniversary of Quang nam’s liberation day. It is also a place to educate the patriotism and revolutionary tradition for the young, a place for gratefulness and commemorating Vietnam’s heroic martyrs who passed away in two wars of resistance for national peace, independence, freedom and reunification.
