My Son Sanctuary restoration

Accordingly, Indian experts will survey the current situation of Group F of My Son Sanctuary (Duy Phu commune, Suy Xuyen district, Quang Nam province) to prepare for a restoration plan.

Earlier, at the working session with the Indian Ambassador in 2020, leaders of Quang Nam Provincial People’s Committee suggested the Indian government continuously support Quang Nam to restore Group F1 at My Son Sanctuary.

India agreed and asked Quang Nam to prepare relevant documents for India before the survey.

According to Director of the My Son Cultural Heritage Preservation  Management Board Phan Ho, Indian experts’ survey at My Son Sanctuary in the coming time will open up new opportunities for the restoration of Group F in general and Group F1 in particular. 

Reportedly, the preservation and restoration project of Groups  K, H, and A at My Son Sanctuary in the 2016-2021 period funded by the Indian Government has come to an end.

However, due to the Covid-19 epidemic, some of towers of group A such as A1, A12 and A13 have been still incompletely restored.
