Mitigating the impacts of natural disasters in schools

(QNO) - A seminar “Multiplying the education programme on mitigating the impacts of natural disasters in Quang Nam province” was organized on November 24th by the Quang Nam Departement of Education and Training. This programme coordinated by SEEDS Asia (Japan)  started 2 years ago in 6 mock-up schools in  Hoi An and Tam Ky cities,  Dien Ban, Duy Xuyen, Thang Binh and  Nui Thanh districts. Until now, over 650 cadres, managers and teachers in 218 schools of these cities and districts have approached this programme with nearly 340 teaching-periods.

With its effects, this programme becomes one of the schooling missions in the school-year 2015-2016 in Quang Nam. It is also deployed to teaching in under-secondary and primary schools in the province.
