The pageant contestants also paid a visit to the Quang Nam Education and Support Centre for Hearing-impaired Children founded by the non-governmental organisation Hearing & Beyond.

Beside learning about the centre's activities, they were also taught sign language by hearing-impaired children.

During the visit, the finalists of Miss Universe Australia 2024 also decided to launch a fundraising campaign for people in Australia to donate to the centre through the Instagram accounts of each contestant and the fundraising page Australia ToyBox.

The event, lasting from May 26 to June 1st, expects to hit a goal of AU$10,000 (about VND168 million).

Earlier, Miss Universe Australia 2024 finalists were present at the press conference "Hoiana Summer Vibes 2024," organised by Hoiana Resort & Golf. It is a summer kick-off event for a series of interesting and exciting activities taking place at this resort this summer.

According to Van Ba Son, Deputy Director of the Quang Nam Department of Culture, Sports, and Tourism, Australia is currently among the top 10 countries with the highest number of tourists travelling to the province.

The Miss Universe Australia 2024 finalists in Quang Nam in general and Hoi An Ancient Town in particular will help promote the world heritage site's image to international travellers.

The Miss Universe Australia 2024 delegation visited Hoi An, Quang Nam, at the invitation of the Hoiana Resort & Golf.
