(QNO) - A discussion on cooperation to strengthen human resources and rehabilitation services was jointly organised by the Department of Health of Quang Nam province and the Medical Committee Netherlands-Vietnam.
The project on interdisciplinary rehabilitation services to support children with intellectual and developmental disabilities was deployed in the localities heavily contaminated by Agent Orange.
It also aims to improve the quality of life of disabled people by developing rehabilitation physicians’ proficiency and services at local medical facilities.
The project concludes: medical training course on physical therapy, medical tools, assessment of rehabilitation at home; stroke rehabilitation; providing rehabilitation services at home and in hospital for disabled people…
The project is implemented in 3 provinces of Quang Nam, Quang Tri and Thua Thien Hue from January to December 2022 with a total cost of more than 427,000 USD.
