(QNO) - On the afternoon of January 13, 2025, a delegation from Dak Cheung (Sekong province, Laos) visited Tay Giang (Quang Nam, Vietnam) to extend Lunar New Year greetings.
In the spirit of deep friendship, Dak Cheung leaders offered warm New Year wishes to the government and people in Tay Giang. They praised and congratulated Tay Giang on its achievements over the past year and reaffirmed their commitment to strengthening the strong bond between the two districts.
The two districts have supported each other in various ways. In 2024, Tay Giang provided 10,140 kg of rice, 1,014 kg of dried fish, 1,014 litres of cooking oil, 1,014 kg of salt, and 507 kg of seasoning powder to border villages in Dak Cheung, with total aid valued at nearly VND 450 million.
