(QNO) - Lifestart Foundation, a non-governmental organisation has recently handed over drinking water treatment systems to 5 schools in Quang Nam province.
The drinking water treatment systems have installed at Le Van Tam Under-secondary School in Dong Giang district, Pham Phu Thu Supper-secondary School in Dien Ban district, Luong The Vinh Under-secondary school in Duy Xuyen district, Ta Bhing Kindergarten and Zuoich Primary School in Nam Giang district.
According to Karen Leonard, Founder of Lifestart Foundation, the clean water systems are among community support programmes donated by Lifestart Foundation.
They are hoped to provide clean water sources to schools, especially those in mountainous and remote areas of Quang Nam province, where clean water is limited.
Earlier, Lifestart Foundation donated drinking water treatment systems to 13 other schools in Quang Nam province.
Till now, 6,000 students and teaching staff have benefited from the clean water sources donated by Lifestart Foundation.
Lifestart Foundation is a not-for-profit organisation founded in 2000 by Karen Leonard from Australia and supported by a team of dedicated volunteers.
Its main focus is helping disadvantaged Vietnamese people with a better life. Lifestart Foundation is implementing two main projects on education and building houses for charity.
