(QNO) - The Learning Express (LeX) programme connects students from Singapore Polytechnic (SP) and University of Science and Technology (DUT) - the University of Danang to learn and innovate for the community.

From April 1 to 12, 2025, students from both universities participated in cultural exchanges and joint projects in Da Nang, visiting traditional rice paper villages and vegetable farms in Hoa Vang district.

By applying design thinking and teamwork, the students worked together to analyse real-life problems and create practical solutions with guidance from experienced lecturers.

Launched by SP in 2011, the LeX programme has been embraced by many prestigious institutions in ASEAN, including DUT.

This programme allows students to learn new technologies and explore ways to commercialise their research findings while engaging in a dynamic academic environment. It also promotes cross-cultural understanding and strengthens the LeX community in the ASEAN region.

Additionally, students from the Vietnam-Britain Institute of Research and Training (VNUK), along with 40 Northern European students, completed 10 weeks of the Kulturstudier programme.

This programme provided valuable insights into the operations of businesses in Vietnam and offered cultural exchange opportunities, including a visit to the Co Tu community in Quang Nam. It left a lasting impact on international students about Da Nang’s vibrant and welcoming culture
