(QNO) - On September 5, Quang Nam University (QNU) held a ceremony to award certificates and hand over 74 Laotian students who successfully finished the Vietnamese language training course in the 2023 - 2024 academic year.
According to Assoc. Prof. Dr. Huynh Trong Duong, Rector of Quang Nam University, the university was assigned to provide Vietnamese language training courses for 74 Laotian students in the 2023-2024 academic year, in accordance with the annual memorandum of understanding signed between Quang Nam (Vietnam) and the Lao provinces of Sekong and Champasak.
48 of these students will continue their studies at Quang Nam University. 25 of them will study at Quang Nam Medical College.
Nguyen Thi Thuy Trang, Deputy Director of the Department of Foreign Affairs, praised the Vietnamese language training program for Laotian students at Quang Nam University. She highlighted that the achievement reflects the efforts of Quang Nam University, its staff, and Laotian students, as well as the effective coordination among relevant agencies in international education.
On this occasion, representatives from Quang Nam University, Quang Nam Medical College, and the Department of Foreign Affairs signed a Laotian students handover agreement.
