Japanese health specialists transfer the technique of cardiovascular intervention treatment

(QNO) - On March 16th, Dr. Takeshi Serikawa, Chief of the Department of Cardiovascular Treatment of Saiseikai Fukuoka Hospital (Japan) visited Quang Nam provincial General Hospital (QNGH).

Dr. Takeshi and QNGH’s doctors treat a blood vessel endoscopy case by optical coherence tomography (OCT).

According to the visitors’ working programe, Dr. Takeshi and his fellow members introduced new information about new techniques of chronic percutaneous coronary intervention (PCI), chronic total occlusion intervention (CTOI) and  transfer new techniques of CTOI, blood vessel endoscopy by optical coherence tomography (OCT) and arteriosclerosis treatment… to doctors of Quang Nam General Hospital.

Reportedly, all patients’ expenditures for  this PCI treatment programe will be paid by Health Insurance policy. The poor patients will be support another part of the treatment expenditure for complicated case.
