Japanese businesses' survey on investment in Quang Nam

(QNO) - On 5 November, Standing Vice Chairman of Quang Nam Provincial People’s Committee Dinh Van Thu and the representatives of related departments welcomed and worked with Japanese business delegation (comprising 24 members), who want to survey the investment environment at Dien Nam - Dien Ngoc industrial Park (Dien Ban, Quang Nam).

Provincial leaders introduced the local strengths and projects for investment to Japanese business delegation. The leaders also confirmed that Quang Nam is a good and eligible selection for environment because it is the best place to meet investors’ demands thanks to its strategic and convenient location connecting to other regions in Vietnam and the world, specific mechanisms, human resources to meet the investors’ requirements of both quality and quantity, ensured infrastructure, etc. Mr. Dinh Van Thu also undertook to create the best conditions for businessmen to promote and create effective investment projects in Quang Nam.

Representing the Japanese business delegation, Mr. Kazuo Tsubota - Director of Trade Koto (Tokyo) said that the delegation was impressed by the development, mechanisms, policies and potentials of Quang Nam. This first survey will open a comprehensive cooperative and investment program in the future. After this trip, the Japanese will hold several workshops to give information of Quang Nam and make the first decision in the next time. Many Japanese companies wish to build factories in Vietnam in general and Quang Nam in particular to recruit local laborers and Vietnamese trainees working in Japan.
