The Japanese Government works with Vietnam’s local agencies and NGOs to deal with communities’ fundamental issues, making an important contribution to supporting Vietnam's sustainable development.

Through the non-refundable aid at grassroots levels, the Government of Japan hopes to promote more and more cooperation so that people of the two countries can understand each other.

The project on building classrooms at Junko school in Dien Ban town, Quang Nam province is among 9 projects funded by the Government of Japan on this occasion.

Speaking at the signing ceremony, Japanese Ambassador Yamada Takio said, although the scale of each project is not large, the program has been implemented in Vietnam since 1992. Up to last year, 680 projects were implemented with the total aid of 5.8 million USD.

"The Japanese Government hopes to continue implementing this program effectively in the future", the Ambassador emphasized.
