Kuala Lumpur (VNA) – The Association of Southeast Asian Nations (ASEAN) has called for an early conclusion of the Code of Conduct (COC) in the East Sea at the 27th ASEAN - China Summit, which was held in Vientiane, Laos, on October 10.

(QNO) - On 22 August, the United States Department of State expressed their deep concern over China’s interference with exploration and exploitation of Vietnam’s oil and gas when the Chinese survey ship - Haiyang Dizhi 8 returns to the waters of Vietnam called East Sea (Biển Đông) and again engaged in a violation of Vietnam’s exclusive economic zone (EEZ).
