(QNO) - Several start-ups with their mind and excitement have been successful in agriculture in Quang Nam thanks to provincial preferential policies.
Leaving a big city for hometown, Nguyen Thi Bao Linh from Tam Xuan 2 commune of Nui Thanh district has made everyone surprised at her success in agriculture. Her star-up project is LHQ Farm.
Bao Linh has deep knowledge of microbial products and of the ways to produce them.
When founding LHQ Farm, she kept on studying to make fertilisers in form of tablets and microbial products by using waste straw thrown away by mushroom farms.
Besides, LHQ Farm uses its organic fertilisers and microbial products for experimental farming models.
The Farm also helps farmers with their paddy plots by using LHQ organic fertilisers, and at the same time it is also a way to advertise LQH start-up project.
The Clean Living from SOSAFCO Manufacturing Trading Services Co., Ltd is another successful start-up project in Quang Nam. It is carried out by Nguyen Thi To Nga from Thang Binh district.
Nga uses modern technology to refine raw agricultural products, making products with high quality, such as cooking oil, fish sauce, swallow’s nests. Her products are available in a lot of supermarkets and agencies all over the country.
Nga is always studying the provincial strategies for agricultural development carefully to develop her products. Currently, she has 15 strategic and 8 export-oriented products.
The start-up project by Nguyen Tien Manh from Nui Thanh district is successful in providing fish cake.
He has made good use of state support policies to develop his production, improve the quality of products, and ensure food safety and hygienic.
At the same time, Manh has taken part in OCOP programmes in order to receive the support and advice on packaging design, sales on electronic trading platforms.
Furthermore, Nguyen Tien Manh cooperates with LHQ Farm to develop a project on growing and producing crispy sweet potatoes which are farmed in sandy areas of Tam Tien commune of Nui Thanh district.
According to agricultural start-ups, the governmental support and policies facilitate their success and development.
Pham Ngoc Sinh, Deputy Director of the Quang Nam provincial Department of Science and Technology, Head of the Executive Board for Start-up and Innovation Support said that Quang Nam has always had suitable mechanisms and policies to encourage start-up innovative ideas and projects to be implemented.
At the same time, there have been a lot of forums, trainings and workshops to provide start-ups with knowledge and skills, support them to maintain and develop their start-up projects.
