River basins and coastal areas (RBCA) are two systems that play an important role in providing water and other vital resources for the local development. However, the RBCA are now unsustainably developing because of the traditional management where there is a lack of collaboration of branches and localities. Then, the R2R approach in the integrated RBCA management has been launched with two key principles: mutual dependence of RBCA, and collaboration in the RBCA management.

The roundtable dialogue aimed to strengthen the integration and debate the interregional mechanism between Quang Nam province and Danang city in order to apply the integrated RBCA management.
