(QNO) - The project of improving ability to respond to and recover from natural disaster impacts in the provinces of central Vietnam has just been ratified by the Quang Nam People’s Committee. It is funded by the United States Agency for International Development (USAID) through Save the Children International (SCI) with the total aid of 4.3 billion VND.

The project started in March 2016 and will finish in March 2017 in the communes Que Xuan 2, Que Phu (Que Son district), Tien My, Tien Tho (Tien Phuoc district) in Quang Nam province. With this project, the authorities, organizations, communities, primary schools, secondary schools in these communes can improve their abilities to respond to and recover from natural disaster impacts.
