(QNO)-Quang Nam is trying to warm its tourism industry via various solutions.
The central province of Quang Nam has put forward plans to host international tourists with “vaccine passports” and negative coronavirus tests from July to September, 2021.
On April 23, a discussion between Quang Nam leaders and tourism businesses and investors in Ho Chi Minh City and southern localities on Quang Nam’s tourism recovery was organised in Ho Chi Minh City.
At the meeting, the provincial leaders announced mechanism, policies and priorities to attract investment in the Quang Nam tourism.
According to Director of the Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism of Quang Nam Nguyen Thanh Hong, recovering tourism is one of the current top priorities of Quang Nam.
If the pilot to welcome international visitors to Quang Nam is approved by the Vietnam’s Prime Minister, Chu Lai airport will be the place to welcome charter flights to take international passengers to Quang Nam.
These tourists will stay at the Hoiana Complex Resort in Duy Xuyen district and Tui Blue Nam Hoi An in Nui Thanh district for 5-10 days.
In early April when the Covid-19 epidemic was controlled, Covid-19 vaccination started in Quang Nam, tourism activities in the province gradually flourished.
Some places such as Cham Islands, Hoi An ancient town, My Son Sanctuary have been more crowded with visitors and more shops open at weekends.
