(QNO) - On the morning of January 1st, 2025, Hoi An city (Quang Nam province) hosted a ceremony to welcome the first international visitors at the Japanese Covered Bridge (Chua Cau).
The group included 18 visitors from Italy participating in a tour program in Hoi An. It is the second consecutive year Hoi An has welcomed a group of Italian visitors at the beginning of the year.
Mrs. Elisabetta Casiragh said that her group was very impressed and moved when they were warmly welcomed by the local authorities and people on the occasion of the New Year 2025.
After a warm welcome ceremony, the group started their journey to explore Hoi An ancient town.
They had chances to admire the ancient architectural works preserved intact over time and experienced traditional cultural and artistic activities such as folk performances and typical handicrafts.
