(QNO) - Hoi An city (Quang Nam province) will host a variety of vibrant cultural, artistic, and recreational activities to welcome the Lunar New Year 2025.
The program, themed “Spring of peace - A prosperous New Year,” kicks off on January 15 with a community gathering at the Vietnam Fatherland Front office in Hoi An.
The festivities continue with the Hoi An Spring Fair 2025, held from January 23 to 28, offering a diverse array of traditional products and handicrafts.
A much-anticipated lantern festival, spanning from January 25 to 27, will illuminate Thanh Ha pottery village with colorful displays and cultural performances, highlighting Hoi An’s rich heritage.
Throughout the Lunar New Year 2025, visitors can enjoy activities such as Tet-themed calligraphy at An Hoi Sculpture Garden and the Spring flower festival at Hoi An Park.
In addition, the Tet Folk Games Festival, running from February 10 to 16, will provide an opportunity for families to engage in traditional games and cultural experiences.
For nature lovers, the Cay Neu Planting Festival, beginning on January 28, symbolizes the ushering in of good fortune. Other highlights include the cooking contest at Tra Que vegetable village on February 2 and the Whale Worshipping Festival on February 4 in Cam Ha.
The grand finale, Hoi An’s New Year festival, will take place on March 7 in Cam Kim, etc.
