Hoi An: The intersection of the Far East

(QNO) - The Italian daily paper La Repubblica called Hoi An - the small city by the Hoai river –  a lovely and transquil town. It’s among the most attractive and valuable destinations of Vietnam to international tourist.

Under the title “The intersection of the Far East”, La Repubblica describes Hoi An as “an  intersection of culture between Vietnam and China, Japan, Holland and India. Visiting Hoi An, the tourists can experience the past time of Vietnam. Hoi An is not crowded with vehicles likes Ha Noi and Ho Chi Minh city, it‘s a museum of old houses which you can discover  by bike or on foot”.

Coming to Hoi An, tourists want to understand the history of this ancient town, enjoy tranquil and relaxing moments as well as other marvelous, wonderful things of life. They seem to be living in a small world of fairy tales when seeing thousands of colourful lanterns lighted on along the streets in the evening.

The article invites Italian tourists to visit Hoi An city to discover and explore a UNESCO’s world cultural heritage in one day trip.

According to Vietnam National Administration of Tourism, Vietnam welcomed nearly 19,000 Italian tourists in 2009, 24,672 in 2010, 31,337 in 2012 and over 50,000 in 2013.
