(QNO) - Hoi An city (Quang Nam province) is put under the social distancing from July 31 to August 14 to prevent the novel coronavirus (Covid-19).
Accordingly, people in Hoi An city are required to stay at home as much as they can.
They are advised to go out only for daily necessities such as food and medicine, medical examination and treatment, natural disasters, fires. Those who work at the state agencies, armed forces and diplomatic agencies are not included.
People must wear masks, wash their hands with soap or disinfectant solution. They have to avoid the gatherings of more than two people in public places and keep a distance of at least 2m from each other.
Markets, supermarkets, pharmacies…are allowed to operate normally on the condition that they must strictly follow the Health Ministry’s recommendations on COVID-19 prevention and control.
Besides, the activities relating to training, culture, sports, festivals, contests, exhibitions, anniversary ceremonies, religious rituals, etc. have been canceled.
Tourist destinations, historic and cultural sites have been closed. Public transports are stopped except for some special cases.
