(QNO) - On the evening of April 19, at the Thanh Hoa - Hoi An Library, the Center for Culture, Sports, Radio & Television of Hoi An, in collaboration with the Hoi An Youth Union, organized the reading culture ambassador contest in response to the 3rd Vietnam Book and Reading Culture Day 2024.
High school students from Hoi An and the Boarding School for Ethnic Minorities - Quang Nam Provincial High School, as well as the Central College of Technology, Economics and Irrigation located in the city, participated in the contest.
The contest includes narrating, presenting, or reenacting the contestants' favorite stories or characters from age-appropriate literary works they have read, possibly incorporating music and performances.
This is an engaging platform for students, encouraging reading habits, self-learning, and research, while enhancing presentation skills, creative thinking, emotional expression, and language development. Additionally, the contest helps propagate a reading culture within the Hoi An community.
