Hoi An ancient town ranked second on Wanderlust's list. It is known as the world’s cultural heritage, recognised by UNESCO in 1999.

Hoi An owns more than 1000 architectural relics, including streets, houses, clubs, public houses, pagodas, temples, and traditional dishes.

The old town has a harmonious traditional beauty that is attractive to and popular with visitors.

Hoi An used to be a busy international trading port between the 15th and 19th centuries.

It was a place of multicultural exchange, including Vietnam, China, Japan, Europe, and India, which is still maintained there, such as the Japanese Covered Bridge, Fujian Assembly Hall, Tan Ky Ancient House, and Hoi An Cathedral.

The history and culture of Hoi An may be found more in museums, exhibitions, and festivals.

Hoi An is also well-known as a culinary paradise of delicious foods and drinks, consisting of bread, cao lau, Quang noodles, Vietnamese crepes, wonton, and corn sweet soup.

Besides, visitors may try preparing some dishes at cooking classes there.

Two other wonders in Vietnam are Ha Long Bay and Phong Nha - Ke Bang National Park.
