Anna Barnes is an Australian artist and businesswoman. She first came to Hoi An (Quang Nam) in 2012 and fell in love with this ancient town. Now, Barnes- Head of Art Food Culture is specialized in organizing experiential tours of indigenous culture to Hoi An.Foreign tourists love Hoi An ancient town through Barnes’ sketches describing the local foods and drinks and people’s daily life.Anna Barnes said she drew these pictures from the photos she took.Barnes describes a woman selling bánh căn - a southern specialty consisting of small pancakes made from quail eggs, cooked in small clay pans.Barnes said she loves the food in Central Vietnam. The climate and culture here are wonderful.In Barnes’s view, Ha Noi capital is as peaceful as Hoi An ancient town.Barnes likes Hoi An noodle very much. Barnes hopes she will return to visit Vietnam as soon as possible.
