(QNO) – The meeting to discuss the establishment of partnership between Hoi An and Gwangsan (Gwangju city, Korea) has recently occurred in Hoi An city, Quang Nam province.

According to a representative of Gwangsan’s leadership, there are a lot of similarities between Hoi An and this district. Therefore, it is very advantageous to establish cooperative relationships, through which two parties can help each other in education, culture, economy, tourism and handicrafts.
Reportedly, Hoi An delegation visited Gwangju city in 2014 to seek cooperation opportunities in arts and crafts. In the same year, the first Hoi An-Korea handicrafts exchange happened in Hoi An. It was a chance to advertise Korean and Hoi An fine art products to tourists.
