(QNO) - A delegation of Hoi An city (Quang Nam province) led by Hoi An Party Committee Secretary Tran Anh had just have a working session with Ha Noi City on joining the UNESCO Creative Cities Network (UCCN).
Representatives of Ha Noi City, Vietnam Institute of Culture and Arts Studies, UN-Habitat Vietnam, Department of International Cooperation of the Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism were also present at the meeting.
The meeting aimed to talk about how to build a dossier to join the UCCN.
Reportedly, Hoi An is completing the dossier on building a UNESCO global creative city and will organize an international workshop "Hoi An creative city" in June 2023 to collect more opinions from the relating parties.
Joining the UCCN may help Hoi An grow sustainably, especially in tourism development, enhancing livelihoods and improving the local life standards.
