(QNO) - According to data released by Booking.com (the world's leading online booking application), Hoi An ranks 5th among the top 10 most - searched destinations by domestic tourists for the summer of 2024 (from June 15 to August 15, 2024).
In the top 10 along with Hoi An, there are also the following destinations: Da Nang, Ho Chi Minh City, Nha Trang, Da Lat, Hanoi, Vung Tau, Phu Quoc, Ha Long, and Quy Nhon.
According to Booking.com, Hoi An is one of the top 5 domestic destinations preferred by couples, along with Da Nang, Ho Chi Minh City, Da Lat, and Nha Trang.
Meanwhile, the top 10 international destinations most searched by Vietnamese tourists this summer include: Bangkok, Singapore, Tokyo, Paris, Seoul, Kuala Lumpur, Sydney, London, Hong Kong, and Melbourne.
Booking.com's survey results indicate that in summer 2024, Vietnamese travelers are inclined towards exploring and rejuvenating, with 57% interested in nature, 48% preferring local cultural experiences, 45% choosing beach destinations, and 36% exploring cities.
